Everything you need to know about using Child Care Resource Center funding.
Program Overview
Who is it for?
Families with children ages 0-12 (or up to 21 with exceptional needs) living in Northern LA County. Eligibility is based on income (earning at or below 85% of the State Median Income) and specific needs such as employment, seeking work, or vocational training.
What is included?
CCRC manages subsidized child care payment programs that help eligible families pay for child care services. This allows you to choose a high-quality provider like Bigger Blessings while the state covers all or most of the cost.
Where does it apply?
This funding is accepted at approved Family Child Care Homes and Centers. Bigger Blessings is a fully approved CCRC provider serving the Antelope Valley (Lancaster and Palmdale).
When to apply?
Right away. Funding is often waitlisted based on priority. The sooner you complete your eligibility list intake form, the better. Eligibility is typically re-determined every 24 months to ensure continued support.
Why does it exist?
To ensure that every child has access to safe, educational, and nurturing care regardless of their family's financial situation. It allows parents to work or attend school with peace of mind, knowing their children are in good hands.
How to Apply & Enroll
Follow these steps to secure your funding and your spot at Bigger Blessings.
Check Eligibility & Apply
Visit the CCRC website to complete the Eligibility List Intake Form. This places you on the waitlist for subsidized care.
Select Your Provider
Once you are approved and funded, you must designate your chosen childcare provider. Inform your case worker that you have selected Bigger Blessings Childcare.
Submit Our License Number
Your case worker will need our official facility license number to authorize payments. Provide them with the number below.
