What is FCCHEN?
The Family Child Care Home Education Network (FCCHEN) is a state-funded program designed to provide high-quality early learning and care in a home-like setting. Unlike standard daycare, FCCHEN providers must meet strict educational standards, offer developmental assessments, and provide nutritious meals—all at little to no cost for eligible families.
Who is it for?
- Age: Children approx. 0-5 years old (until 5th birthday).
- Income: Families under 85% of the State Median Income.
- Need: Parents must be working, seeking work, or in vocational training.
What do you get?
More than just supervision. Your child receives:
- Education: DRDP assessments to track learning.
- Nutrition: Healthy meals and snacks included.
- Support: Regular parent conferences.

Income Eligibility Guidelines (2025-2026)
Families must earn at or below these gross monthly amounts (85% SMI) to qualify.

How to Apply
Enrollment is a two-step process involving us and the network administrator (CCRC).
Contact Us First
Call us to check if we have an open "network spot" for your child's age. These spots are reserved specifically for FCCHEN families.
Apply for Eligibility
We will refer you to a CCRC Family Development Specialist who will verify your income and need. You will need to provide pay stubs or school registration.
Complete Enrollment
Once CCRC certifies your eligibility, you return to us to sign the admission agreement and schedule your child's first day!
